I know -- it has been a long time since we last posted. One of our dear friends told me (two weeks ago) that she had memorized all of our last posts and when were we going to post again. I don't really have any good excuses, so all I can say is that the alien who took my place while I was being abducted didn't realize I had a blog...
Wow! What an Easter! We ended up taking the boys to visit family and had a wonderful time. It is the first time since before Noah was born that we got to go spend Easter in town with our family, so it was a really special time for us.
The boys loved it because they got to do two Easter Egg Hunts, jump around in and slide down one of those big blow-up jumping things with a slide (I'm sure there is a proper name for them), and then they got to ride a horse! I thought we were never going to get Eli off the old fella (he was a sweet old horse), and the look on Noah's face was simply priceless (although we had mom's new pricey camera there to capture it -- good ole' visa or MasterCard or whatever the commercial is for). I'll be posting some of those pictures as soon as mom (ahem, ahem) sends me those pictures.
NEWS!!! Also, I wanted to remind everyone that it is almost time for another trip to Philly!!! Please be in prayer for Noah's health, our travel (we are attempting to fly standby this time, so pray we all make the first flight!), and that we will get a really good program for meeting Noah's needs. Also pray for Eli (and Mama) as Eli will stay with Grandmama and Granddaddy this trip. We will be leaving April 9th and be back the 19th.
Noah's army is a group of volunteers united in doing a program that will give Noah the best chance he has for reaching his potential. Come by any time for news on his progress and to see pictures of him and his brother.
Prayer Requests
UPDATED 08/20/12
1. Please pray that we can continue to get our new house set up for all of Noah's needs and that we can find all the volunteers we needs to do Noah's program (this is always a big, slow process when we move).
3. Our other big request is for Noah's hip. Noah's out-of-joint left hip is really holding him back. He needs range of motion, and he needs the muscles that are too tight to loosen up and the loose muscles to tighten up and get bigger. Pray for a new type of physical therapy we are started specifically to help the hip.
