I'm too tired to go into detail, but we had another good day at the clinic working with doctors, teachers and nutritionists. We got some good new things to try from the doctor for some nutritional problems Noah is having as well as some new yoga positions to loosen the hip, adductors, and hamstrings.
We got a new intellectual program that I think Noah will really enjoy, but I don't feel overwhelmed by. She gave us some good suggestions on organizing the program and keeping records of Noah's work. I think he will really enjoy it!
Lastly today, we saw the nutritionist who put the doctor's suggestions for supplements and tests down on paper in an understandable format.
I may not get a chance to post tomorrow about the final program (since we will finish up in the clinic and head a few hours down the road), but I have some good pictures to share and will let you know about more of the whys and hows by the end of the weekend.
Noah's army is a group of volunteers united in doing a program that will give Noah the best chance he has for reaching his potential. Come by any time for news on his progress and to see pictures of him and his brother.
Prayer Requests
UPDATED 08/20/12
1. Please pray that we can continue to get our new house set up for all of Noah's needs and that we can find all the volunteers we needs to do Noah's program (this is always a big, slow process when we move).
3. Our other big request is for Noah's hip. Noah's out-of-joint left hip is really holding him back. He needs range of motion, and he needs the muscles that are too tight to loosen up and the loose muscles to tighten up and get bigger. Pray for a new type of physical therapy we are started specifically to help the hip.
