Well, we took Noah and Eli to see the circus elephants trot across town from the train station to the Bi-Lo Center. As often happens, it turned into a bit of adventure the end of which Noah got to see the elephants from the comfort of the warm van. Luckily we were parked really closely to the road. Five small elephants (which of course is relative to elephant size) trotted by each holding the tail of the one in front. They looked very much like a group of very large kindergartners walking hand in hand surrounded by their teachers -- or in this case, handlers. It was very cute, and the boys loved it.
Noah has been a little under the weather lately, but we are looking forward to getting some good program started soon. We could really use some volunteers, however, and if you are in the area shoot me an email!
Noah's army is a group of volunteers united in doing a program that will give Noah the best chance he has for reaching his potential. Come by any time for news on his progress and to see pictures of him and his brother.
Prayer Requests
UPDATED 08/20/12
1. Please pray that we can continue to get our new house set up for all of Noah's needs and that we can find all the volunteers we needs to do Noah's program (this is always a big, slow process when we move).
3. Our other big request is for Noah's hip. Noah's out-of-joint left hip is really holding him back. He needs range of motion, and he needs the muscles that are too tight to loosen up and the loose muscles to tighten up and get bigger. Pray for a new type of physical therapy we are started specifically to help the hip.
