Several months ago we tell you that Noah is crawling off the incline floor six to twelve inches at a time, a few minutes at a time. At the end of May Noah crawled 10 feet in 8 minutes while in Philly. We were amazed. We got home with a new program that didn't involve the incline floor. It was astounding to even think about after all this time, but we were excited to give it a try.
Immediately, Noah was crawling a couple feet average in two minute sessions. We were really pleased. A few weeks later it was three feet average. A couple weeks ago, he began averaging about four feet. Now it is five and six feet in two minutes. Yesterday he crawled one session of 84 inches in two minutes!!!
A seven year-old child who has been immobile his whole life and was told by doctors and specialists he'd never move under his own power is crawling across my living room floor completely on his own. And having a blast doing it!!
Wow. I had to pause for a few minutes after writing that to sit back and contemplate what I just wrote. And to those of you who know me and will understand what it really means: EVERY MINUTE IS WORTH IT!
And I'll just add, "Praise the Lord!! Because ALL things are possible!"
