Toe Socks

Okay, so here's Noah modeling his toe socks (by the company Toesox). Aren't they the cutest? We wanted to try them to see if they would help keep his toes a little more spread out (which they do), and help him to use them better while crawling. I also wanted to see if I could get them on his feet.

See this was a first part trial for something even better. Noah is going to start his walking program again soon, and we needed something to keep him from walking on his toes, but that weren't as restrictive as the typical AFOs (which are braces that keep the feet flat). He won't even attempt to walk in AFOs.

Anyway, we heard about the Vibram Fivefingers shoes (which, by the way, are hideously ugly, but evidently feel wonderful on your feet). We thought this might be just what Noah needed, and since the toe socks were so easy to get on his feet, I have ordered Noah some fivefinger shoes. You can see them by clicking here. We have great hopes that these can help Noah with his walking and crawling. We'll let you know!!
