Great Article About "Special" Dads

Yes, I have been a terrible blogger -- with a very good excuse. I promise I will return more completely when this baby decides to make his appearance and we get settled. I have a lot of updates for Noah as well as some new recipes to share.

For now I wanted to share this blog post that a friend of mine found and shared. You hear the stats of increases in divorce rates for couples of kids with special needs. You're told by many of your "friends" that your husband is more likely to leave you when you when you have a special needs child (my husband is particularly offended by that one).

But you're not told about how amazing your husband can be with the special needs child. No one mentions how amazing it can be when you work hard day after day with your children, fighting for all their needs, and your husband supports you 100 percent. Honestly, I think the harder you work and the more of yourself you put into his children, the more he respects you.

So check out this great article about the Thinking Dad.
