Weekend Fun

We like to have a little fun around the clock -- it's kind of hard to keep Noah from having fun. But as we start off the week, I thought I'd share a couple of pictures of weekend fun time.

This is the boys with their cousin a few weekend back having some together time. I love this picture because it catches parts of each of their personalities.

Here are the boys this weekend enjoying the cool weather at Grandmama and Granddaddy's garden. They get to play with Aunt Wilma's dogs and help plant some seeds.

Jumping

It's not the easiest thing in the world to do, but Noah loves it so much, we try to do it when we can. Noah loves to jump on the trampoline. The next time you go out to jump on the trampoline (as I am sure you do regularly), take a 35 pound bag with you, and hold it in your arms when you jump. That's what we are doing when we jump with Noah -- except that Noah gets excited and wiggles and kicks his feet.

And it is so worth it. Just look at his face! He laughs and squeals, and you love it so much, you just have to push yourself to the limit to let him do it!

Cute Pics

So the other morning Eli asks me, "Can I hold Noah?" It was out of the blue. I said yes, of course, so I put Noah in his lap and gave a little support behind Noah's back. Then Eli said, "Take a picture!" He looked at me like I was missing the obvious. Dad pulled out his phone and snapped this picture. Sweet boys. This picture is of Noah on his first golf outing. Noah's favorite thing to do is ride in a car. He loves the movement as well as looking at the other cars and trucks -- he sighs when you get to a stoplight (poor long-suffering creature), and he cries the moment he sees us getting close to the house (trying to figure out who has spoiled him so thoroughly). Well, his new favorite thing to do is ride in a golf cart. We strapped his car seat snugly into the golf cart, and the moment it took off he squealed and laughed until it stopped. This went on the entire two or three hours. And oddly enough, he didn't cry when they stopped. Peepaw enjoyed watching Noah so much that I think he could have cared less about his game -- that day, at least. Eli just loved hitting his new orange golf ball (orange is his favorite color after all -- it's the little things, you know). We will definitely be doing this again soon!
