While I was waiting for word from the docs in Philly, I took Noah back to the chiropractor today. He did his normal spinal adjustment, but we talked about the hip for a while and he did an adjustment to his pelvis. Noah's aspect immediately changed -- he went from looking highly uncomfortable to his normal, happy-go-lucky self. He started kicking his feet, and I could feel the glutes and tell that he was using them much better.
I'm not a big fan of just any Chiropractor, but this one is particularly good. And he is a good man who just really wants to help. I think that is part of why he helps Noah so much. He is also a Christian who believes what he does will have little effect without God's help. I really like that!
Noah's army is a group of volunteers united in doing a program that will give Noah the best chance he has for reaching his potential. Come by any time for news on his progress and to see pictures of him and his brother.
Prayer Requests
UPDATED 08/20/12
1. Please pray that we can continue to get our new house set up for all of Noah's needs and that we can find all the volunteers we needs to do Noah's program (this is always a big, slow process when we move).
3. Our other big request is for Noah's hip. Noah's out-of-joint left hip is really holding him back. He needs range of motion, and he needs the muscles that are too tight to loosen up and the loose muscles to tighten up and get bigger. Pray for a new type of physical therapy we are started specifically to help the hip.
