Sleepy Boy

Okay, so I have been a terrible blogger lately. Sometimes when you have had a big change (like moving to a different state), it is difficult to get all the "normal" things you do (you know, in my completely "normal" life) going again. So this week my focus is keeping my friends (especially those who have been calling me with complaints about it) "in the know" about what is going on with Noah.

Well, as you can see by this photo, Noah has been a bit sleepy lately. Yes, I put him on the floor for his third or fourth crawling session, and after a couple minutes of his going nowhere, I discovered he was asleep! I woke him up and told him to crawl, but all he did was turn head head toward me, smile slightly, and close his eyes again.

I'm not sure what is causing this fatigue, but it may have something to do with the move. He has been waking up a lot at night and having what my husband calls, "A little party." He will laugh, kick his feet, and wave his arms until all his stuffed animals have been knocked off his bed. Sometimes he even manages to get his feet kicked over the side and knock over his monitor. When I get in his room to set it back up, he gives me this impish grin that seems to say innocently, "Oh! Mom, I'm so surprised to see you here." Yeah, right. You knew exactly what you were doing you little rascal.

I try not to respond, you know -- waking up at 3AM to play is not something I want to encourage. Of course if it wasn't 3AM (or a similar sleepy time), it would probably be much harder not to laugh.

I've been in touch with his doctors in Philly, and I'm sure they'll help me get it figured out -- they always do.
