Each time I went back up to check on him, he had crawled all the way off the end and turned himself around like he was going to go for another pass! I haven't added it up yet, but I bet his total crawling distance this morning is going to be fabulous.
"So, why so much crawling?" you might ask. Well, Noah needs the movement just like you and I need to move our bodies. It is also the first step of movement for well children -- and don't you think there is a point to the way babies/children develop? Why else do they pretty much all develop the same way? I could go into a lot of they "whys" of children's development, but I'll just say for now that movement is one of the ways that helps the child's body to develop -- and even though Noah is now eight (wow, almost nine!), he still needs to move in the ways that will help his body develop more correctly!
