Some days are great...

Noah had a great Monday -- he did some pretty good crawling, especially in the morning, and for lunch he ate what we call "Noah's Mac n Cheese" (it's rice noodle shells and a creamy cashew sauce) without grinding up the noodles. I mashed them a bit so the pieces would be quite as big, but he did a great job without choking or coughing, which was an awesome breakthrough!!

Then today Noah did some decent crawling in the morning, but when I put him in his respiratory patterning jack this afternoon (it helps him take deep breaths on a good rhythm) one of the bladders was busted. And after I changed them, the new bladders would fill up, but wouldn't empty -- which means they would squeeze the air out of him, but not allow him to take that deep breath back in. I spent two hours trying to fix it, which didn't turn out so well. So the really great intellectual program that I had planned during that time only got partially done, and the other things I was planning to accomplish in that time went unfinished.

Some days are like that -- but tomorrow's a new day!
