The annual decorating of the Christmas tree was always a huge event around my house growing up, and thanks to a very eager 6-year-old, it continues to be. With all the dietary changes we have had to make lately, there weren't a lot of the sweets for the evening, but Eli didn't really seem to notice. And it wouldn't really have mattered to Noah, either, as he cannot eat sugar of any kind (sugar is a water-retaining agent like salt, so it could increase swelling and, therefore, seizures).
Anyway, here are a couple pictures of the boys enjoying the decorations of the season.
Here's Noah hanging a few decorations on the tree. He loves to be a part of everything we do -- of course!!
And I thought this was a really cute picture of Eli holding the ladder for Granddaddy. It is a very sturdy ladder, but Eli felt it very important to be sure someone kept it steady.
