His teeth are so nice and white!! One interesting thing I have never noticed before -- Noah is missing a permanent tooth on the bottom front. There should be four teeth between his I-teeth, and there are only three. I don't know how I have never noticed it before. Interestingly enough, his two baby teeth in that area were fused. It's nothing you can see, so it doesn't really matter, but I thought it interesting.
Eli did well, as always, though he did try very hard to persuade the hygienist to let him brush his own teeth. He also tried to talk her out of sticking that sharp instrument into his mouth, which he didn't think was quite safe. I just stood back trying to laugh as little as possible. Eli was very (very, very, very) excited when he got to see his permanent teeth coming in on his x-ray, and the dentist informed him that his front bottom teeth were a little "wiggly".
I must say that I was quite impressed with the Dentist, Dr. "B" as she is known, at My Kidz Dentist in Newnan. She was so very sweet and communicated some things about Noah's teeth that Noah's last dentist had not. She also prescribed some medications that could help Noah's mouth sore problem. He hasn't been getting them as often lately, but when he does get them, it makes eating really difficult. I also suspect that beneath that quite and sweet demeanor, there exists an extremely high IQ.
