Noah's Birthday Week

Because Noah's Birthday is the day after Christmas, we usually have his birthday party a week or so after just so there is a little separation between the two. We can hardly allow him to get up and not make a big deal of it being his birthday all day long, plus we never fail to have one or two people come by during the week to wish Noah a happy birthday. Therefore it becomes his birthday week!
We keep the party fairly low key so it doesn't get too overwhelming for his sensitive ears. Here he (with a little help from Daddy) had just blown out the candle on his special birthday cake.

Eli, for reasons completely unknown (not to mention completely unbeknownst to us), decided to dress up as Indiana Jones for Noah's birthday party. He found Grandmama's garden hat and taped the "5 o'clock shadow" on his face and chin. I thought his shirt choice was a little ironic.

Noah got some much-needed clothes and some gift certificates to buy books. He also got a book about the Mythbusters, which is one of his favorite shows.
