And I don't mean "moving" as in "touching". I mean the not-fun-kind of moving where you pack up boxes and stuff them on a truck with your furniture. Sigh. But it must be done, and we are very excited about our new house and getting started in a new city.
There's always something exciting about going to any new place, and one of the exciting things is the view. From our front porch we have a beautiful, serene view of the mountains. Of course I'll need the serenity moving with three kids (four if you count my husband, which, sometimes have *have* to)!
Then there's the sad stuff about the move -- the wonderful people you leave behind. This has been a fun stage in our lives (I tend to look at each place we have lived as a "stage"), mostly because we have been in the same town with our families. Our wonderful families who have helped us so much.
And there's the beautiful friends we've made. People who weekly give of their time and energy -- and often times much more. Where in the world would we be without the Marie's of the world?!? And where in the world will we be when Noah's Marie is an hour and a half away?!
So in the coming weeks, you can look forward to seeing Noah's new setup -- as we get it setup. Then maybe we'll get settled enough where I can be a little more consistent as well!
Noah's army is a group of volunteers united in doing a program that will give Noah the best chance he has for reaching his potential. Come by any time for news on his progress and to see pictures of him and his brother.
Prayer Requests
UPDATED 08/20/12
1. Please pray that we can continue to get our new house set up for all of Noah's needs and that we can find all the volunteers we needs to do Noah's program (this is always a big, slow process when we move).
3. Our other big request is for Noah's hip. Noah's out-of-joint left hip is really holding him back. He needs range of motion, and he needs the muscles that are too tight to loosen up and the loose muscles to tighten up and get bigger. Pray for a new type of physical therapy we are started specifically to help the hip.
